Bead Unique Magazine: Fall 2006, Issue #10
Issue #10 of Bead Unique Magazine contains the A Touch of Autumn necklace project featuring my handmade borosilicate beads combined with a new product I am carrying, electroformed leaves. The design is straightforward and simple but the combination of the two is what makes the piece spectacular. It is a celebration of the coming Fall season . The leaves featured in the necklace are (from left to right): birch, rose, lacey oak, Japanese maple and aspen in the exclusive iridescent rose gold finish (24kt gold and copper). These are real leaves that have been preserved in metal through the magic of electroforming and each is a work of art.
