To place an order:
1. Browse the catalog.
2. Write down the item number(s)
and the quantity you wish to order.
3. Email lisakandesigns@yahoo.com
your order.
4. Product availability and the
order invoice will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours with the payment
information unless I am traveling and out of the office.
5. You have 2 days (or 48
hours) to confirm your order with your shipping address.
6. After your confirmation is
received, your order will be reserved and held for you for up to 10 business
days. If no payment
is received within this time, your order will be returned to stock or
sold to another customer after an email notification. Future
orders are NOT accepted from those who do not respond to my emails after placing an order.
This is the only way I can stay organized and manage the influx of orders that
come in, especially during busy seasons and during holidays. If there are any mitigating circumstances or
"emergencies" which cause payment delays please inform us ASAP.
7. Washington residents are subject to a sales tax of 8.20%. If you have a reseller's permit number,
tax will be exempt. You must provide your reseller's information on first
time purchases. Once established, you merely have to remind me that your
information is on file when placing an order.
8. Please note that we
are solely an online store and do not have a storefront. This allows us
to provide you personal service all the time. It is also how we are able to
keep our product prices down and pass the savings to you. We
also attend numerous bead shows nationwide, to meet and talk to our customers
in person. Check our show
schedule to find out where we'll be next.
9. We don't have
any minimum order requirements on most items, UNLESS you wish to
qualify for wholesale pricing on handmade glass beads,
pendant holders, or the
Professional Precision Tools. Designers and bead stores
can qualify for discounts based on the total amount they purchase. For additional details of the discount

payment options
Once your order has been confirmed, you can send a cashier's check or money order. You can also use
Paypal which is the preferred method of payment that guarantees quick shipment.
Purchases may also be made directly by Visa or Mastercard (minimum $25 purchase)
through our merchant
account by emailing your credit card info in two separate emails. (1st
email: the first eight digits, and expiration date with your mailing address;
2nd email: the last eight digits, and the 3 digit security code with your
billing address, if different.) We do NOT
accept COD orders or personal checks due to experiences
with NSF
(non-sufficient fund) charges in the past. All orders must be prepaid prior to
shipment, no exceptions. PayPal and direct credit card payments will ship immediately. Shipments are
twice weekly with adjustments made based on customer
needs. If you need your order urgently, we can make a
special trip to the post office, just let me know in advance so I can arrange
around my studio schedule.
Please remember to confirm via email within 2 days your shipping address so
that your order can be prepared for shipment.
Also note that generally sellers bear no responsibility for USPS mail
delays and/or loss, if insurance is not purchased.
Insurance is $1.85 for up to $50 insured. USPS
charges $2.35 for $50 to $100, $2.90 from $100.01 to $200, $4.85 from
200.01 to $300, and $4.85 plus $1.00 for every $100 thereafter for $300.01
to $5000. Orders are shipped via Priority mail which starts at $5.00
and goes up dependent on weight. The most economical form of shipment will
be used. The seller is NOT responsible for any damages incurred by
USPS.
Orders over $50 are recommended to be insured for security.
All orders are shipped with Delivery Confirmation and prices are already
included in the shipping rates.
We also ship internationally and shipping charges will be
slightly higher than US domestic mail. Priority International flat rate
envelop or small box is the preferred method of shipment. All custom
fees, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer. We will work
with you for the best shipping options and savings for your order.

reserved items
We would always like to have
everything you want and need in stock. However, there are times that some of our products
may sell out prior to your email order, especially if we're having a sale. Orders are reserved on a first come,
first serve basis. Ordering of glass beads are only from the online catalog
which indicates the current styles I am creating in my studio. Gallery
beads show only a sampling of my work and are not necessarily always available. Generally,
show stock is opened for Internet ordering in between shows and locked during
the days of exhibiting. To order glass beads,
email me and I will send you
photos of the offline stock, if available. For any out of stock glass
beads, you can opt to be placed on a waiting list until the respective style of
beads are available again.

We guarantee
everything you buy from Lisa Kan Designs to be free from defects in
material and workmanship. Certain handcrafted items such as Bali Sterling,
Bali Oxidized Silver, Bali Gold Vermeil, lampwork beads, metalsmith jewelry and hand faceted semi-precious stones may have
slight variations from batch to batch, which are quite normal. If you are
not completely satisfied with any product you purchased, email us immediately
for possible product exchanges, credit towards a future order or check refund. After receiving our confirmation, return
the product postage paid within 10 business days. Lisa Kan
Designs is NOT responsible for return postage and/or lost packages. It is
always wise to purchase insurance for security.
All returns must include a copy of the original invoice and the unused/unaltered
product with the original packaging. All refunds are made by check for the
original product/auction price. Original shipping costs are non-refundable and there are no
restocking fees. For closeout, clearance and special orders, all sales
are final. You may also request credit towards a future order in lieu
of a refund check.
Auction items are refunded the final selling price minus listing/selling fees,
where appropriate. If you changed your mind and the product is not
defective or based on our negligent representation, returns will not be
accepted.
All of our lampwork glass beads are kiln annealed for strength and
durability. We use an Arrow Springs AF99 kiln and ASC/3 digital
controller. In the event that there is damage, please notify us
immediately. We will replace or refund the cost of ANY damaged lampwork bead if it was due to our negligence.
If you drop your bead and break it yourself due to your own negligence,
returns are not accepted. Please note that any replaced lampwork bead
may not be an exact replica of the original, since all glass beads are
individually handcrafted and are thus unique. Feel free to ask us any questions
by sending us an email.

We honor your privacy and do not share any of
your personal information. Your information is kept
in our offline database on a separate computer system to better serve you and to keep you informed of our specials
or new
products. Updated news is posted on the website frequently as we do
not believe in barraging your email account with electronic newsletters which
may be considered SPAM by some servers. You may also be interested in
